As a courtesy to our dining customers, we offer free mooring space

As a courtesy to our dining customers, we offer free mooring space. In front of the restaurant, there is a pier that accommodates both motorboats and sailboats, complete with cleats mounted on the pierhead. Alternatively, lateral mooring is also possible. If you haven’t reserved your mooring in advance, you can anchor in the bay safely since sea bed is rocky, or if there is a free buoys without reservation mark you can take it. If you need transportation to the shore, simply call the restaurant and they will arrange to pick you up and return you to your boat after dinner.

Pier

The pier is designed to accommodate boats with a draught of less than 2,8 meters, making it suitable for a range of different watercraft. The pier is made of sturdy materials such as concrete, and metal, and is anchored securely to the shore to provide a stable platform for boats to tie up.

One important thing to note about this mooring space is that it is limited in terms of capacity. This means that during high season or times of peak demand, there may not be enough space available for all boats that wish to moor at the pier. As a result, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance to secure a spot, especially during busy periods.

In addition to the limited capacity, it is also worth noting that the pier have certain rules and regulations in place to ensure the safety of boats and other users of the area. For example, there may be restrictions on the size of boats that can be accommodated, or on the amount of time that boats can stay moored at the pier. It is important for boaters to be aware of these rules which are given by the staff and to comply with them in order to avoid any issues or conflicts.

Overall, the pier provides a convenient and safe mooring option for boats with a draught of less than 2,8 meters. However, due to the limited capacity, it is important for boaters to plan ahead and make a reservation if necessary to ensure that they can secure a spot.

Mooring bouys

Mooring buoys are a popular option for boats that want to anchor in a particular location without having to drop an anchor. At Konoba Bain, we operate 10 of mooring buoys which are available for use by our customers. However, it is important to note that these buoys are under our concession and certain rules and regulations apply.

One of the key rules for our mooring buoys is that there is a length limit of 17 meters. This means that boats longer than 55 ft or 17 meters will not be able to use our buoys for mooring. In addition, it is important to note that the sea depth at our mooring buoys is more than 7 meters. This ensures that boats can anchor safely and securely without worrying about dragging or drifting.

Another important rule for our mooring buoys is that customers who use them but do not eat at our restaurant will need to pay a mooring fee. This is because the buoys are part of our concession and require maintenance and upkeep.

If customers need transportation to the shore, they can call our restaurant to arrange a trip. We offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off service, so customers can enjoy their time on the sea and then easily make their way to shore for dining, or other activities.

Overall, our mooring buoys are a great option for boats looking for a safe and convenient way to anchor in the area. However, it is important to be aware of the rules and regulations that apply, including the length limit, mooring fee, and the requirement to eat at our restaurant. By following these guidelines, boaters can enjoy a hassle-free experience and make the most of their time on the sea.

Please note that mooring operator can advise boat skipper to unmoore your boat for safety reasons due to bad weather conditions.
